‘Darabar Jayga‘ set off its journey 35 years ago. This has been a well-acclaimed magazine for the last 10 years in the later phase. Apart from publishing the magazine the publication section has been a safe abode to the budding talents. Beside the elder poets and literary persons the younger generations have also secured their places with the help of ‘Darabar Jayga‘ publications. ‘Zahir Publication‘, a sister concern of ‘Darabar Jayga‘, has started publishing English books. Bengalees residing abroad have also got the opportunity to showcase their write-ups across the globe through the publications launched by ‘Zahir Publication‘ and ‘Darabar Jayga‘. ‘Zahir Publication‘ and ‘Darabar Jayga‘ will grow themselves as enriched and contemporary publications in the upcoming days. ‘Darabar Jayga‘ is the pride of the youth. We are a bilingual literary magazine, Darabar Jayga, with our own publication house. We mainly have been showcasing the emerging poets writing in Bengali or English, with adequate flair, talent and creative poetic potential. Besides, all other varieties of literature namely essays, stories, interviews with prominent litterateurs, reviews and so on comprise our activity focus. The publication department has an already impressive inventory of its own published material contributed by authors of eminence and new prodigies in the field.
